Poster - One of rarest and best of the Star Wars Episode 1 Collectibles. These unique 'tickets' were distributed only to certain members of the Press for a special advanced showing of Star Wars Episode 1 on May 11, 1999. (There were no preview showings allowed for radio stations, as there are for most movies). Due to scheduling changes with the release of the film, April 11, 1999 was printed and re-stamped with the correct date of May 11, 1999. This Ticket has a special watermark of the Lucasfilm logo that can be seen with a black light, but if you look hard you can see it under normal light. After a person was admitted to this once-only showing, these special passes were sent back to 20th Century Fox to be destroyed. This was the only way the theater could get reimbursed for the showing of the film. Combined, these reasons make this a very scarce Episode I collectible.
